Best Laptops Under 500 Best Performing Models
While I was looking for few interesting best laptops under 500 for writing this post, I have seen few interesting models from Asus, HP, Samsung and Acer. In this particular post, I have reviewed few models that have been most interesting to me, although, if you personally prefer some other brands you will for sure find models under $500 but I believe that those models will provide less than models mentioned below.
Last year model, Asus Eee PC Seashell 1215N-PU17-BK was for sure one of the best laptops under $500. It is equipped with Intel Dual Core Atom processor, Nvidia ION 2 graphic card, 12 inch LED display screen, 2GB DDR3 of RAM memory, 250GB hard drive that rotates on 5.400 rpm, Windows 7 Home Premium, HDMI out, Wireless connection, 10/100 Ethernet LAN, etc. Many users purchased particular model since it was more than best peace of equipment on the market for that price. In overall, every single user was very happy.
One Year later, Asus has introduced another model that is actually replacement for previously mentioned laptop. When compared with last year model, it has dedicated video card, 64 bit Windows, Bluetooth 3.0 and much less bloatware. According to user reviews, price difference between old and new model is worth it so I will say that new model ASUS 1215N-PU27-BK is new best laptop under $500.
This laptop performs really well and even above expected thanks to its dedicated video card that can push without problems WoW and Starcraft II to run on low to medium settings with 25-30 frames per second. Basic functions and multitasking jobs are running seamlessly. Display screen is very bright; colors are vivid and very sharp thanks to great native resolution and Full HD support. ASUS 1215N-PU27-BK is sleek and lightweight machine with very comfortable keyboard and touchpad. It comes with 500GB hard drive, 3 USB ports, battery that can run for up to 7 hours, Wireless connection, etc.
This particular laptop may also be one of the choices for best laptop under 500 as it has great performances, amazing price and comes with all that you may need from one machine. It will do every multitasking job without much trouble since it is powered by AMD Zacate Dual Core processor on 1.6GHZ, 3GB DDR3 RAM memory, 320GB hard drive that rotates on 7200 rpm. For great display quality, sharp and vivid image HP Pavilion dm1z has 11.6 inch wide LED display with BrightView powered by Radeon HD6310 graphic card. In the package it comes with Windows 7 Home Premium.
According to user reviews, it will run most games without problems. It can render 1080p HD image without much hesitation and it will run every application without the need for more battery use or cooling. Only drawback of the particular laptop is due Adobe Flash and processor architecture, so sometimes while running Flash video in HD mode using HDMI you may notice some lag. This should be overcome in next Flash update since AMD and Adobe are working on this fix. Also, this laptop do not come with built in CD/DVD player. It is really nice looking laptop, chassis is well built, keyboard is nice and easy for typing, and track pad is pretty good but not better than MacBook.
